I have loved being childminder for over 26 years & always enjoy each day tailoring activities to each child’s individual needs to stimulate and encouraging them so they are having fun & they are learning as well.

I am an Ofsted Reg. Childminder working in a home from home environment in Ponsanooth.

I continually attend various training courses to keep up to date.  

I have a CACHE Level 3 certificate in Childminding Practice as well as up to date Child Protection, Pediatric First Aid and Food Hygiene certificates. 

I follow the Early Years Foundation Stage principles to promote learning, development & care for children from birth to five years. 

I look after Children aged between 3 months and 12 years old.

I can except 2 year old funding and I also provide funding for all three and four year old children who are all entitled to 15 Universal hours of  Early Years (EY) Entitlement per week, and a further 15 Extended hours if eligible to a maximin of 30 hours.

I offer full time and part time care according to your needs, all hours are flexible and I charge £5.50 per hour.

I collect from Kennel Vale CP School in Ponsanooth and offer before and after School care as well as Holiday care for for all ages. 

During the long summer months we take all the children on trips out to see local attractions, entrance fees for some of the more expensive attractions to be paid by the parents.

    

We are a Non Smoking household

I live in a beautiful cosy old cottage in Ponsanooth nr Truro and I have a lovely dinning room/conservatory area rebuilt into a fantastic airy and light room with loads of toys and equipment to play with.

I also have wonderful wooden play equipment in the garden with a slide and lookout with play house and exciting places to hide and play.

 

For those that need a evening home cooked meal the Children who stay later can choose to have Shepards pie or Spagetti bolognaise as well as Fish fingers, sausages etc, at a reasonable charge.

 

I am a Member of PACEY and PreSchool learning alliance as well as being a Member of Falmouth & District Childminding Group where fellow childminders meet up for training and to orginise fun days for the children in our care.
