Ofsted Reg. Childminder
Childcare in Ponsanooth
A stimulating home from home where Children are happy and contented
Feel confident they are in good hands
I offer a wide range of activities tailored to each Childs individual needs aimed to stimulate and for them to enjoy what they are doing.
I hope to ensure that your Child leaves each evening looking forward to their next visit.
I want my Home to be an extension of their own home (home from home) ,where they can rest and relax, play, feel safe and secure.
As a Childminder I am able to go out and visit lots of different places for your Child to learn in.
We love to get out & about in term time as well as the School holidays. In the term time we visit the local park in Ponsanooth on our way back from collecting from the local School. In term time and in holidays we like to visit other local parks in the area, local beaches and the nearby woods (Kennel Vale in Ponsanooth) Tehidy or local amenities like the Seal Sanctuary, Trebah Gardens, Trelissick Gardens, Wheel Martyn, Eden Project, Newquay Zoo, Lost Garden of Heligan, Truro Museum and the Maritime Museum in Falmouth, Truro Cathedral, Museum and Library. On every trip there is something new to learn and see.
At home we love to observe wildlife in the garden so there is a free flow system from inside to out in summerso we can spend more time there. I have a swing and slide as well as a lovely playhouse. In the play house there is sand to play with, plus lots of ride on toys.
We like to grow our own vegetables and then recycle the peelings. Observe insects and animals that live in the garden or when out and about.
Being an Artist myself we do lots of drawing and craft. We like to do such things as painting, play dough, cutting and sticking.
We play together with the cars, building towers with blocks and love to play with sand or water.
The house is filled with music, both classical and modern, and we do a lot of singing and dancing as well as making our own music and sometimes making our own musical instruments.
We all love cooking so on rainy days we sometimes make our own biscuits and pizzas or even make our own sandwiches for lunch.
I like to read so like to encourage children to look at books and we read stories together. The older children sometimes will read to the younger children and even make their own story books.
